Ergo Baby Carrier

The ERGO Baby Carrier is conveniently compact, comfortable to wear and provides sturdy support for your baby. This is what thousands of satisfied parents are saying.

The ergonomic design of the carrier ensures that your baby is in the correct sitting position to encourage proper hip, pelvis and spine growth. The Ergo Baby Carrier has thought about everything, for the baby and the parent.  The carrier balances the baby’s weight to the parents hips and shoulders, reducing physical stress.

The padded waist belt supports the lumbar area and 1″ thick padding in the  shoulder straps makes it extra comfortable, allowing the weight to be carried on the shoulders and the hips.

Unlike other frame back packs, the ERGO baby is right against your back so their weight seems less.  A traditional hard frame back pack holds the baby further away from your body, making the baby feel heavier and just generally feel more awkward.

Using the Ergo Baby Carrier gives you continuous connection with your baby.  This gives you the fabulous feeling of freedom – your hands free and the security knowing that your baby is safe.

This is the all-in-one soft baby carrier, taking you through all the stages of your baby’s growth and moving easily from front to hip to back position easily.

Parents everywhere say the Ergo Baby Carrier is the best baby carrier on the market.  It assists you through all stages of your baby’s growth from infant to toddler (approx 40lbs).   There is an infant insert which is specially padded and the shaped cushion can be quickly and easily placed in the carrier. Your baby is then cradled in a cozy and protected environment with both feet to one side in a sling-like position.  This is best for the baby’s physical development from newborn to around 4 months.  There is also a hood which can be extended for privacy when nursing or as a sun shield.

Ergo believe facing the baby towards the parent in a vertical front carry position where the baby can make eye contact and evaluate facial expressions is the right way to go.  They recommend choosing a baby carrier that allows your child to face you…. Never out.

This is what some moms are saying about the ERGO baby carrier

I got one two weeks before my daughter turned 2 and I love it. It’s the only carrier I can still comfortably carry her in. I really wish I’d gotten it much, much sooner. You absolutely cannot go wrong with buying one.’

‘It held up wonderfully, made carrying my daughter easy and comfortable for both of us, and I could wear it for hours even with a larger, older baby. I have a number of other slings and carriers and the Ergo was always the go-to carrier for long outings.’

‘The Ergo is SUPER comfy! The shoulder straps are very cushiony and the new generation looks even nicer than the original because of the modifications they made to the hood and hood straps. I can’t wait to use it!’

Onesies are super easy to use for infants. Onesies are similar in many ways to undershirts with the exception that they’ve snap closures between the legs. This has several functions. For example It allows quick availability for quick diaper changes. Second the crotch closure holds the onesie in place. Third, there are infants who will dig and scratch their skin, including the navel. When the fingernails are not cut constantly short, this can trigger inflammation. With a bodysuit prevents the infant from hurting themeselves.

However bodysuits are generally sold for babies. After a infant becomes a toddler, the choice of onesies significantly decreases. It really is hard to buy a onesie for your toddler and almost impossible to locate a bodysuit for a young child. Because of that many parents turn to onesie extenders. Onesie extenders are a piece of cloth with several rows of snaps at the end that allow a smaller bodysuit to be utilized for an older child. In fact several onesie extenders can be attached together and allow a onesie being employed for several years.

What are your options when your child has outgrown onesies? You will find bodysuits for girls which work in virtually the same as a onesie. One more option to baby onesie is to look into footie pajamas. You will find footies for boys, footed pajamas for girls and footies for adults. The principal thing differentiating them and onesies is that whilst onesies stop at the crotch, footies cover all the way down and even cover the feet.

One of the happiest moments in a parent’s life is the birth of a child. However, before you know it, the little one has reached potty training age and is ready to embrace this new phase of their young life.  Many parents are unprepared and do not know exactly what to do in this situation and that is why they quickly seek out potty training advice and guidance. Some parents are lucky and do not need potty training advice because their children start using the potty naturally and do not resist using the toilet.  For other parents, unfortunately, this can quickly become a nightmare and they can go through an ordeal that cannot be handled without some potty training advice or coaching.

So it is extremely important (especially for new parents), before applying any potty training advice you have to watch the child for signs of readiness for potty training. In fact, before taking and acting on any potty training advice, you should first be sure that the timing is right for potty training. If you try to convince your little angel too early to do it, you will probably cause a lot of useless stress to both the child and yourself.

When your child is ready to start potty training then your should seek out the right potty training advice. Select the most appropriate pieces of potty training advice and start on your journey. One of the most important things to remember is to be calm and patient because you might find that your child resists the potty. If this happens, you will need all the potty training advice you can get.

One of the top car seats on the market today is the Britax Roundabout convertible car seat. There are some pros and cons to this particular car seat, so lets start with the pros:

Pros:

  • Rear and forward facing options
  • Includes a 5 point safety harness to ensure your childs safety
  • Features quick release tabs to remove your child from the car seat fast
  • Reclining back
  • Height adjustments
  • Much, Much More….

Cons:

  • Pricey at around $200
  • This car seat is relatively bulky making it a little harder to get in and out of the vehicle.

When it comes to your childs safety, the Britax roundabout carseat is a solid option. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. I mean it is rare that your car seat changes vehicles often. If you are anything like me, you keep your carseat in one vehicle a majority of the time. If however, you are worried about the bulkiness of the car seat then chosing a different option in car seats might be best. (Check out the Graco nautilus)

Yes the price is up there and you will definitely be able to find a less expensive car seat, however you want to make sure you don’t do this at the expense of safety. I would rather pay the higher price tag knowing I have a quality product then getting a less expensive car seat that lacks safety features.

When you are looking for a jogging stroller it is so difficult to choose one because there are so many options out there–the
different bands and models available is overwhelming. Here’s a short guide list for your quick reference to help you find the
right jogging stroller.

1. Number of kids you want to haul around
First of all consider how many children you will want to have in the stroller. If you have an older kid that likes to run and a
younger one that likes to ride then you might want to consider a single stroller because pushing two kids is pretty hard. If
two kids want to ride then a double stroller will be ideal.

2. Do you run a lot?
If you are a serious runner that can run for a few miles many times a week then you may want a stroller with bigger wheels. With bigger wheel base it is much easier to run with the stroller and also more stable. And if you are running off road on rough
surfaces an all-terrain stroller will be your better choice.

3. Extra features
If you are like me who like to bring along stuff while you’re jogging such as a diaper bag just in case your little one has an
accident, then you will want to have extra storage room. Some stroller comes with a few side pockets, a storage basket on the
bottom of the seat, and also cup holders.

4. Safety features

Safety of your child should come first of all things. You can go to the Consumer Reports website to get information on different
brands and models of strollers. The Consumer Reports site does a good job on breaking down the good and bad of different brands and makes. You will want to pick a stroller that suits you and your budget and equiped with the most important safety features recommended.

Official ratings on sites like Consumer Reports can be very helpful but you can also get very valuable opinions from other
parents on the internet. Often times, you can find unbias, honest reviews on anything on forums. So go do a search on the internet for forums that discuss about baby stuffs and most likely there will be parents posting their opinions of
stroller’s performance.

p101beach2KidCo PeaPod Portable Travel Bed is a handy, multi-purpose crib and play area for infants. The bed itself is an air mattress which is inflated using the manual hand pump which is included.  It is very easy to assemble and disassemble – you just pull it out of its bag and voila!!

The top of the Peapod which fits over and around the mattress is great as it protects your baby from the sun, wind and insects.  The mesh portion can be unzipped for air circulation and is also ready for playtime.

It folds into a compact, lightweight carrying case which fits easily into a suitcase or car trunk.
There are 2 versions of the PeaPod – the original and the PeaPod Plus,  the Plus is definitely worth the extra few dollars.

51k-vet4w5L._SL160_

Here’s what moms are saying about the PeaPod:

“We did not buy a travel bed for our first (he’s now 2 years old) because all we could find were heavy and bulky.  We bought this one for our 7 week old, and boy do I wish we found it before! It is super compact and light weight.  Assembles in no time and the pad on top of the air mattress gives it a nice soft feel  (rather than that bouncy air mattress feel). We used it in a vacation rental, but we’ll probably use it at the beach this summer for her to hang out in, out of the sun.  Definitely read the instructions on how to pack it away before you go, maybe even practice it, and it’ll be a breeze to put away too.”

“We used this for our 3 month old in Aruba. The mesh netting kept the bugs and most of thesand out.  Easy to assemble, not so hard to put back together, but you definitely need to read the instructions.  Air bed blows up in a minute, not much work, even though it’s a manual pump.  Cute design.  We got a lot of compliments from other parents”

Whether you have an infant or ‘big kid’ the KidCo PeaPod Portable Travel Bed is the perfect travel bed. For short trips across town when naptime nears, or long cross country vacations, the PeaPod Plus becomes your child’s own portable bedroom. And it’s so lightweight even your child can carry it. The inflatable air mattress helps protect from cold, hard surfaces (inside or out) and provides a comfortable place to sleep or play.

Great for outdoors because of its UV protection and adjustable wind screens. Sleeping bag unzips completely to form a one piece sleeping pad. A large front zipper panel allows parents quick access to infants or easy in/out for older kids. The slick, easy to fold design makes it ideal for storage and use at a moment’s notice. Weighs 6.9 lbs.

Open Dimensions:

52.5″L x 34″W x 25″H
133.35cm x 86.36cm x 63.5cm

Storage Bag Dimensions:

19″L x 19″H x 6.5″W
48.26cm x 48.26cm x 16.5cm
